Technology
The Office of Disability Services works cooperatively with the
Adaptive Computing Technology Center (ACT) to insure that students have access to the latest in adaptive technology.
ACT provides adaptive computing workstations in several locations on campus. The workstations are equipped with a computer and adaptive devices including: voice activated software, magnification software and equipment, mathematical software, and speech output devices that provide voice output from the computer.
Disability Services also works with ACT to provide electronic texts for students who require this as an accommodation.
