How to Find Us

The Office of Disability Services is located in S5 Memorial Union, on the campus of the University of Missouri-Columbia . Metered parking for visitors is available east of Memorial Union, accessed from University Avenue , as well as in University Parking Garage also accessed from University Avenue . A lot for users of disabled parking permits is located on Hitt Street , just north of Brady Commons. From I-70 East or West to the Visitor Parking Lot

Take the exit for Rangeline Road .
Go south on Rangeline to Business Loop 70. Turn left on the Business Loop, and turn right again on College Avenue (approximately 2 blocks).
Continue south on College Avenue for some distance (2 miles)
You will pass the traffic light at Broadway (the main east-west road through downtown).
Continue to the intersection of University Avenue and College Avenue . Turn right onto University Avenue . Go approximately one block. Turn left on to campus – there is a drive between Lefevre and Waters Halls leading to the visitor parking lot- or right into the University Parking Garage. Disability Services is located in the south wing of Memorial Union – to get there from the visitor parking lot and the Garage, walk between Stewart Hall (adjacent to the visitor lot) and the Union , to the south, past the tower with the archway, past A.P. Green Chapel, and around the corner. The automated accessible entrance is at the back of the building, facing Gwynn Hall.

From I-70 East or West to the disabled parking permit only lot

Take the exit for Rangeline Road . Turn right onto Rangeline.
Go south on Rangeline to Business Loop 70. Turn left on the Business Loop and turn right again on College Avenue (approximately 2 blocks). Continue south on College Avenue for some distance (2 miles). You will pass through the traffic light at Broadway (the main east-west road through downtown). Continue to the intersection of College Avenue and Rollins Road . Turn right on Rollins, and continue for approximately two blocks. Turn right on Hitt Street . Just ahead and to your left is the entrance to the parking lot (disabled parking permit only). If you park in this lot, Memorial Union will be across Hitt Street and approximately one block north. The entrance is located at the back side of the south wing of Memorial Union. A wheelchair accessible ramp is right in front of the automated accessible entrance. Disability Services is straight ahead.
Follow the sidewalk into the building. Disability Services is located on the lower level of Memorial Union South.

From I-63 North or South

Take Columbia Exit for Stadium Blvd.
Go west on Stadium.
(If you were on 63 north, turn left at the top of the exit ramp.)
(If you were on 63 south, turn right at the top of the exit ramp.)
Follow Stadium to College Avenue . Turn right on College Avenue . To reach the disabled parking permit only lot, drive north on College Avenue to the intersection of College Avenue and Rollins Road . Turn left (west) on Rollins, and from here, follow the directions above.

To reach the visitor parking lot or University Parking garage, continue on College Avenue to the intersection of College Avenue and University Avenue . Turn left (west) on University Avenue , and from here, follow the directions above.
