The Bridge Program - Bridging the Gap Between High School and Mizzou

learn more about this new program! For the first time ever, 15 incoming
freshmen will have the opportunity to attend a day and a half long program on
campus before classes start. This program will offer students the chance
to get to know other students with disabilities, both incoming students new to
MU and those that have been on campus for a while. We will feature
sessions about self advocacy, preparing for college, and how successfully
manage accommodations. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about
services offered by other campus offices, including the Learning Center,
Counseling Center, Student Health Center, and Adaptive Computing and Technology.
The Bridge Program will be offered on August 13th and 14th.
This program is sponsored by the Office of Disability Services and Heart of
Missouri Regional Professional Development Center.
