Services for Students with Temporary Injuries
If you have a temporary injury (e.g., broken boss, recovery from surgery) and need assistance with transportation, exams or notetaking...
Please read the following:
- You must register with the Office of Disability Services. To register, you will need to complete some brief paperwork and discuss your needs with a staff member.
- In order to complete your registration, you will need to proivde medical documentation to verify your temporary condition and need for assistance. Acceptable documentation includes a doctor's note, discharge summary, emergency room visist report or itemized bill.
- You will also need to provide a copy of your schedule of classes at the time you register.
You do not need to make an appointment but you will need to come in during the below office hours. If you are not available during the times below please contact Jessi or Matt to set an appointment.
- Monday's - 8:00am - 10:00am
- Tuesday's - 8:00am-10:00am
- Thursday's - 2:00pm-4:00pm
- Friday's - 2:00pm-4:00pm

* If you are requesting assistance with the campus van, please read on:
- The campus van is provided as a courtesy and cannot be a guaranteed service.
- Scheduled pick-ups and drops-offs are deteermined based on your schedule of classes, with designated windows of time for both. The service is NOT designed to be "on-call." Short notice changes to the schedule will not be accommodated.
- Students with permanent disabilities are given priority in scheduling the van service.
